Thank you for considering participating in the 4th South Wedge Farmers Market. The 2010 season is shaping up to be the most exciting season yet!
The SWPC has been involved with Chris and Vicki Hartman for the past few years and this year the SWFM is becoming a formal program of SWPC. Chris Hartman has joined the SWPC Board of Directors with responsibility for overseeing the SWFM!
We are actively looking for a part time paid Market Manager and hope to have someone hired in the next few weeks. We are looking for some one with marketing and promotional experience that has a passion for healthy foods.
We are committed to taking the market to a totally new level in 2010. Some of the things you can look for this year:
- Creative and innovative marketing strategies all intended to drive market attendance.
- Last year a number of community groups visited the market. This year we hope to expand that number to increase the number of regular customers.
- A broad mix of vendors to draw more people.
- A continuation of the ideals and belief’s that the Hartman’s have taught us.
- A dedicated individual make the market work efficiently.
- The SWPC team is actively looking for additional funding and sponsorship’s to provide additional funding for marketing.
- A continued commitment to bring together consumer and producer in a sustainable way!
